Certificate of appreciation for speakers

A certificate of appreciation is the customary thank-you for a guest or resource speaker, handed over right after the talk. Choose a design, add the speaker's name, the topic and the event, and download a print-ready PDF, or a PNG to email after a webinar. Wording for keynotes, panelists and moderators is below.

Wording for speakers, panelists and moderators

What to include on a speaker's certificate

Speakers keep these certificates as a record of where they have spoken, so get the details right, above all the name and the title of the talk.

Element What to write
Title Certificate of Appreciation. Some organisers add the role, as in Certificate of Appreciation for Resource Speaker.
Speaker's name The name and honorific the speaker uses professionally, such as Dr., Prof., Engr. or Atty., spelled as in their bio.
Talk or session The exact title of the talk, panel or workshop as it appears in your programme.
Role Resource speaker, keynote speaker, guest speaker, panelist or moderator, so the certificate says what they did.
Event, date and venue The event's full name, the date and the venue, or online for a webinar.
Signatories The event organiser and the head of the host organisation, such as the school principal, the dean or the association president.

How to prepare a certificate for a speaker

1.

Open the speaker wording

The appreciation title and a thank-you for speaking are filled in, in the Elegant style. Change the style or colours to match your event.

2.

Add the talk

Enter your organisation, the speaker's name with their honorific, the topic or talk title and the date.

3.

Print it before the event

Download the PDF, print it on card and have it signed in advance, so it is ready to hand over right after the session.

Spreadsheet

A certificate for every speaker on the programme

Conferences and seminar series can have dozens of speakers, panelists and moderators, each needing a certificate with their own name, role and session. DynaPictures turns your speaker list into one certificate per person in your design, saved as PDFs named after each speaker.

  • Speaker lists from CSV or Excel
  • Session titles and roles from columns
  • One PDF per speaker, ready to print

Speaker certificate FAQ

Name the speaker with their honorific, then thank them for the specific talk: its topic, the event and the date, for example “for sharing your expertise on data privacy at the Northern Business Seminar 2026”. Sign it as the organiser.
