Create a certificate of participation
It opens with participation wording and an Event Organiser signature line. Type your event's name and date, add your logo, then download a PDF for print or a 300 DPI PNG. Free, no login.
Certificate of participation wording
Name the event in full and say how the person took part. For a webinar add the length, for a competition the category, for a conference the role.

How to write a certificate of participation
Six elements cover almost any event. Keep the event line to one sentence: the event's name, its date and, if it fits, the role.
| Element | What to write |
|---|---|
| Title | Certificate of Participation, or Certificate of Attendance when people listened rather than took an active part. |
| Line above the name | “This certifies that” for conferences and seminars, or the warmer “This certificate is presented to” for school competitions. |
| Participant's name | The name from your registration form, so ask people to type it the way they want it printed. |
| Event and role | The event's full name and format, plus the role if there was one: delegate, team member, volunteer or performer. |
| Date and place | The date or dates and the venue or city; for a webinar, the date and the word online. |
| Organiser and signatories | Your organisation and logo, signed by the event organiser and, at schools and colleges, the principal or head of department. |
How to make a certificate of participation
Pick a design for your event
Choose a style that matches your event branding and set its colours. The participation wording is already filled in.
Enter the event details
Add your organisation and logo, the participant's name, the event's full name and the date.
Print or email it
Download a PDF for the closing session, or the 2000×1414 PNG to email to people who joined online.
Certificates for every attendee on your list
After a conference or webinar, everyone on your registration list expects a certificate with their own name on it. Export that list as CSV or Excel, and DynaPictures generates a participation certificate per attendee in your design, each PDF named after the person.
- Registration lists from CSV or Excel
- One participation certificate per attendee
- Files named after each attendee
Certificate of participation FAQ
A certificate an organiser gives to everyone who took part in an event, workshop, webinar, seminar, conference or competition. It records that the person took part, not that they won or passed a test.
