Create the banner for your team's profiles
Save the date and Register now are filled in: add the event name, date, place and logo, then download the 1584x396 PNG.
Your speakers, sponsors and attendees, each with their own banner
A Save the date banner on the team's profiles starts the word of mouth, which grows with each person who joins in. The DynaPictures Event Marketing module turns one design into a banner for every speaker, sponsor and attendee, with their own name on it, and gives each share a tracked short link that counts its clicks.
- Personal banners for speakers, sponsors and attendees
- A tracked short link minted for every share
- Clicks by channel, wave and country
How to make a LinkedIn banner that promotes an event
Keep or change the label
Save the date is preset; switch to Tickets on sale or Join us if that fits the stage of your campaign, then type the event name.
Add the date, place and button
Write the date with the city or Online, keep Register now on the button or shorten it, and upload the event logo up to 5 MB.
Pass the PNG to the team
Download the 1584x396 PNG and send the file to colleagues, who each set it as the cover image on their profile; the download link expires after 24 hours.
Why promote your event with a profile banner
One file for the whole team
No name or role is printed on it, so the same 1584x396 PNG works on every colleague's profile.
A call to action in the corner
Register now sits bottom right in the accent colour, where it reads as the next step even though LinkedIn does not make it clickable.
Clear of every profile photo
The text starts just over a quarter of the way in, so it reads the same whichever photo sits on top.
Your event's colours and logo
Six styles with editable background, accent and text colours, plus the event logo as PNG, JPG or WebP up to 5 MB.
Ready in a minute
No login, no watermark and 20 renders a day per visitor, enough to try a few versions.
Promoting an event with LinkedIn profile banners
A profile banner is seen by everyone who opens the profile: people who accept a connection request, read a comment, check out a speaker or look up a salesperson before a call. When the organizing team, the speakers and the sponsors all show the same Save the date strip, the event turns up again and again in places a single post never reaches. Keep the message to the event name, the date and the place, use Register now as a cue, and put the registration link in your Featured section or your posts, because the banner itself is not clickable. Swap the banner after the event, since a date in the past makes a profile look neglected.
Free limits
20 renders and 60 live previews a day per visitor, PNG output, files deleted after 24 hours.
Preset fields
Save the date label, event name, date and place, a Register now button and an optional logo; name and role start empty.
Personal versions
Colleagues who want their own name on it can fill in name and role, or you paste a CSV of up to 10 people for one ZIP a day.
Questions about promoting an event on LinkedIn
No. The LinkedIn event banner is the 16:9 cover on a LinkedIn Event page, and the free Event Banner Resizer crops a picture for it at 1600x900. This tool makes the 1584x396 banner people show on their own profiles.
