Resize your LinkedIn event banner
Drop a photo or designed banner up to 15 MB; the box is locked to 16:9 and the download is a 1600x900 PNG.
The event page needs one cover, the speakers need a banner each
LinkedIn Events fill up when the speakers post, and a speaker posts when the graphic already has their name, talk and photo on it. DynaPictures renders that banner for every person from one template, hands each of them a share page with the post text ready and counts the clicks their post brings.

How to resize an image for a LinkedIn event cover
Upload the picture
JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF or HEIC up to 15 MB. The crop box opens at 16:9, the ratio LinkedIn requires for an event cover.
Frame it for the feed
The cover also appears as a small card when the event is shared, so keep the subject large and centred; the preview shows the result at 1600x900.
Download and set it as the cover
Save the PNG, open the event, choose Edit event and upload the image. The download link is valid for 24 hours.
Why resize LinkedIn event banners here
16:9 as LinkedIn asks
LinkedIn's help centre asks for a 16:9 image at least 480 pixels wide; the preset locks that ratio and exports 1600x900.
Sharp on every screen
1600x900 is well above the minimum, so the cover does not blur on a desktop event page.
The subject stays put
Face detection or your own crop box keeps a speaker photo or team picture inside the frame.
A preview with a safe area
See the finished cover before uploading, with the dashed area where text and logos are safe.

LinkedIn event cover image size
LinkedIn Events take a cover image in a 16:9 ratio with a minimum width of 480 pixels, per LinkedIn's help centre; this tool exports 1600x900 pixels, which keeps the image crisp at the width of a desktop event page. The cover is shown at the top of the event page and as the picture of the event card in feeds and messages, scaled down each time, so a large subject and short, big text work better than detail. A personal profile banner is a different thing entirely: 1584x396, a 4:1 strip, covered by the free LinkedIn Banner Generator and the LinkedIn banner preset of the Social Media Image Resizer.
