Zoom Webinar Banner Resizer

The banner on a Zoom webinar registration page is a short, wide strip: Zoom suggests 640 by 200 pixels and accepts up to 1280 by 1280, and a photo of any other shape gets squashed or cropped by Zoom itself. Upload the image, frame it in the locked 3.2:1 box and download a 1280x400 PNG, the same proportions at twice the resolution so it stays sharp. 20 resizes a day, no account needed.

Event Marketing

A registration page converts the people your panelists send to it

A webinar's registrations come from the posts of its host and panelists far more than from the banner on the Zoom page. DynaPictures gives each panelist a banner with their name and session and a share page with suggested text, and the clicks and sign-ups from their posts are reported by name.

  • A banner per panelist from one template
  • Share pages with the post text ready
  • Registrations attributed per panelist

How to resize an image for a Zoom webinar banner

1.

Upload the image

JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF or HEIC up to 15 MB. The crop box opens at 3.2:1, the proportions of Zoom's registration banner.

2.

Choose a strip that works

A banner this flat shows a slice of the picture; the preview makes clear what survives, so put the subject in the middle.

3.

Download and upload in Zoom

Save the 1280x400 PNG, open the webinar, go to Branding and upload it as the banner. The download link lasts 24 hours.

Why resize Zoom banners here

Zoom's proportions, sharper

Zoom suggests 640x200; the preset keeps that 3.2:1 shape at 1280x400, inside the 1280x1280 maximum and twice as crisp.

No surprise crop in Zoom

A 3.2:1 upload needs no cropping by Zoom, so the banner looks as the preview showed it.

Faces stay in the strip

Face detection centres the slice on the people in a speaker photo when you do not drag the box.

Free, 20 a day

No watermark, no sign-up, PNG output.

Zoom webinar banner size

Zoom's webinar branding lets you upload a banner that sits at the top of the registration page; Zoom suggests 640 by 200 pixels and allows files up to 1280 by 1280. This preset exports 1280x400, the same 3.2:1 proportions at double resolution, so Zoom scales it down rather than up and the banner stays sharp on large screens. Zoom also takes a square logo for the registration page and the confirmation email; crop that with the free Crop Image tool. The figures come from Zoom's support pages as read on 21 October 2026 and can change with Zoom's design.

Free usage

One image up to 15 MB per run, 20 runs a day per visitor, PNG output; downloads are deleted after 24 hours.

Logo and speaker photos

The registration page's logo is square and the speaker photos in Zoom's branding are too; crop them with the free Face Crop tool.

Panelist posts

The banner is one strip on your own page. The banners panelists post carry their names, which DynaPictures renders per person.
