Resize your Luma event cover
Drop an image up to 15 MB; the box is locked to a square and the download is a 1080x1080 PNG.
A Luma page gets its guests from the guests who already said yes
Luma events travel through the people on the guest list, and a guest shares more readily when the graphic already carries their own name. DynaPictures adds that to your Luma flow: a widget on the thank-you page makes an I'm attending graphic per person, and every share links back with its own tracked link.
- An I'm attending graphic per guest
- A widget for the confirmation page
- Clicks per share, bots filtered out
How to resize an image for a Luma event cover
Upload the image
JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF or HEIC up to 15 MB. The crop box opens as a square, the only shape Luma displays.
Keep the corners empty
The preview shades the four corners Luma rounds off; keep logos and text away from them, inside the dashed line.
Download and upload to Luma
Save the 1080x1080 PNG, open the event in Luma, click the cover and replace it. The download link lasts 24 hours.
Why resize Luma covers here
Square, like Luma shows it
Luma's help centre asks for a square cover of at least 800x800; the preset exports 1080x1080, plenty for the calendar and the share card.
Rounded corners made visible
The only preset that shows what the corner rounding removes, so a logo never gets its edge clipped.
Static, not animated
Luma recommends static images over GIFs; a PNG is exactly that.
Faces kept whole
Face detection centres the square on the people in a photo when you do not drag the box yourself.
20 free covers a day
No watermark, no sign-up, PNG output in a second.
Luma event cover image size
Luma displays event cover images as squares and recommends uploading at least 800 by 800 pixels; there is no hard maximum, and a larger file simply scales better across the event page, the calendar grid and the preview card. Luma rounds the corners of the cover on display, so anything placed in the extreme corners is cut, and it advises keeping text minimal because the cover is often shown small. Luma prefers static images to GIFs. This tool crops to a square and exports a 1080x1080 PNG, with the corners and a 6 percent safe margin marked in the preview.
Free usage
One image up to 15 MB per run, 20 runs a day per visitor, PNG output; downloads are deleted after 24 hours.
Other images in Luma
Calendar artwork and host avatars have their own shapes; this preset covers the event cover only.
Posts about the event
The cover is one square. The graphics guests post carry their names, which DynaPictures renders per person.
