Write your click to tweet
Type the post, paste the page URL and copy the link. Keep text and link within 280 characters; X counts the link as 23.
Ready-made posts for every speaker, each with its own tracked link
A quotable line in a speaker announcement gets reposted by readers, but the posts that fill a room usually come from the people on stage. DynaPictures Event Marketing gives every speaker and sponsor suggested post text and one-tap sharing to X from their own share page, with a fresh tracked short link in each post.
- Suggested post text per speaker or sponsor
- One-tap sharing to X, LinkedIn and more
- Bot-filtered clicks shown for each person
How to make a click to tweet link
Write the post
Type the line you want people to share, hashtags and mentions included, short enough that text and link fit in 280 characters.
Attach the page
Paste the URL of the article, talk or event page, plus UTM source, medium and campaign, for example x, social and the event name.
Copy it into place
Copy the link for a button in your newsletter or the HTML for your blog, and press Open to see the post X will show.
Why build click to tweet links here
X's own Post intent
The link uses x.com/intent/tweet with text and url, the web intent X documents for its Post button, with no redirect service in between.
Simple 280 maths
The link always counts as 23 characters after t.co shortens it, so about 255 remain for your words, with or without UTM tags.
Hashtags and mentions as typed
Whatever you write, from #EventName to @speaker and emoji, lands in the post box exactly as typed.
Made for pages and newsletters
Copy a ready link element for your site, or use the raw link behind any button in your email editor.
Nothing stored
The post is assembled in your browser: nothing is uploaded, there is no daily limit and no account.
How click to tweet works on X
X's Post web intent, x.com/intent/tweet, takes a text parameter and a url parameter and opens the composer with both filled in. It never posts by itself: the reader sees the post, can edit it and presses Post, and anyone not logged in is asked to log in first. X wraps every link in a t.co address that counts as 23 characters whatever its real length, so a long URL with UTM tags costs no more than a short one; keep text and link within 280 characters. The card under the post comes from your page's Twitter Card or Open Graph tags. Click to tweet is the name from the days when X was Twitter, and the intent works the same under the new name.
Free limits
No daily limit and no login. The link is assembled in your browser and nothing you type is uploaded.
Room for 500 characters
The text field takes up to 500 characters, more than X's 280, so count before you copy.
Check the card
Run your page through the free Twitter Card Validator to see the title and image X shows under the post.
Click to tweet questions
A link to X's Post intent with your text and URL in it. Clicking it opens the composer on X, formerly Twitter, with the post already written; the reader only presses Post.
